Also minister of Bruton Parish. Home was at Poquson, was called Sclater's Mansion. House is gone now but farm is still called Mansion Land. buried near front door of old St John's Church, Hampton, York CO VA
Some records of his ministerial duties are found in "Papers relaating to the History of the Church in Virginia, 1650-1776" edited by William Stevens Perry DD (1870), and "Charles Parish--Histories and Registers 1646-1789" at Virginia State Library.
